Oblivion level cap mod

Monsters were considerably harder to kill (compared to the time when I was level 3), suggesting that I had done something wrong. The highest level requirement for any quest in Oblivion is 20 (I think), so I added 17 levels and +5 +5 +5 attributes for each level.īut something felt wrong. Grinding for dozens of hours wasn't gonna be much fun, so I turned to console commands.

The level requirement for the quest was 10, if I remember correctly. But I was trying to level efficiently and after about 20 hours in the game, I only reached level 3. Usually this wasn't a problem a bit of grinding and I'm done. I stumbled upon a daedric shrine, tried to start the quest and got a notification saying I was to low level. It was a bit easier to keep track of my skills and I was able to continue with the game. However, it was a bit immersion-breaking (imagine having to alt+tab to notepad every time you level up a skill) so I installed the skill diary mod.

It was great, I was able to kill lots of enemies without much hassle.

This time I learned about the leveling system and I tried efficient leveling. I realised the problem was unfixable, so I made a new character. So the first character I made in Oblivion was a poorly leveled Khajiit.
